  • Brochures or Cards Placed in the Visitor Center

    Carmel Chamber of Commerce members may place either their business cards or a rack card at the Carmel Visitor Center. Visitors and locals are constantly pulling information. It is requested that rack cards be a traditional 4x9 to best fit the space available.

    Listing on carmelchamber.org

    Each member will receive at least (1) business listing on the chamber's website. Some membership levels come with (2) listings or an enhanced listing with the ability to showcase logos, photos and videos. Additional listings may be purchased for $125 per year.

    Post Events on carmelchamber.org

    Members can post their upcoming events to the online calendar. The online calendar is one of the most viewed sections of the website. Every week, upcoming member events are posted to the plasma screen that runs 24/7 in the Carmel Visitor Center.

    Guide to Carmel Listing

    Each member will receive at least (1) business listing in the annual Guide to Carmel. Some memberships levels come with (2) listings. Additional listings may be purchased for $125 per year. The guide is released every June 1st.

    Receive Weekly & Monthly Update Email

    The chamber sends out, on average, 5 emails a month. The first email is the Chamber Newsletter which contains a multitude of information including member press releases, upcoming events, and a letter from the board chair. The weekly update email goes out every Tuesday and includes upcoming events and important time-sensitive news.

    Receive Promotion via Social Media

    Members who actively use social media may enjoy having their posts shared or re-tweeted by the chamber. When out n' about, chamber staff may take photos of members' businesses and post them as well. The chamber has a strong social media following.

    Member Pricing at Chamber Events

    Members receive special pricing at most chamber events that are open to the public.

    Relationship Building Opportunities

    Throughout the year the chamber holds many events geared towards bringing businesses together and creating lasting working relationships.

    Representation to Local Government

    The chamber has staff or a representative at nearly all City Council meetings. The chamber consistently works with the city officials on policies to improve the economic vitality of the business community.

    Members may buy ads in the monthly newsletter. There are (2) spots available per month on a first-come first-serve basis.

    Members may buy ads in the weekly update email. There are (2) spots available per week on a first-come first-serve basis.

    Tickets to Chamber Events

    Some membership levels come with tickets to various chamber events.

    Annual Marketing Credits

    Some membership levels come with credits that may be used for towards different marketing opportunities the chamber offers.

    Inclusion on the Wine Tasting Map

    Members who operate wine tasting rooms and have the Winery level of membership are included on the annual wine map. The wine map is located on the website as well as in the Guide to Carmel. (This map is separate from the Wine Walk-by-the-Sea™.)

    Inclusion on the Restaurant Map

    Members who operate a restaurant and have the Restaurant level of membership are included on the annual restaurant map. The restaurant map is handed out by the Carmel Visitor Center, Carmel inns, and is located on the website.
