Étoile, meaning “Star” in French, is the epitome of haute couture elegance. A collaborative creation between mixed-media artist France Ruhnke and ceramicist Lauren Merrill, she’s a celebration of luxury, fashion, and French whimsy.

She wears white acrylic with gold leaf, Chanel-inspired polka dots in Hermès orange, and a glittering gold brush-tail. Her Christian Dior–inspired booties feature a Paris map and signature red soles à la Louboutin, with hearts tucked underneath.  A silk scarf adorned with white ceramic camellias and a miniature Eiffel Tower completes her ensemble—while ceramic butterflies flutter around her.

Étoile is a walking fashion fantasy and a proud ambassador of French flair and Carmel charm.
