About Carmela

Carmela is inspired by the natural and cultural beauty that surrounds us in the Carmel area. This artwork is a blend of “Manga” Japanese pen illustration and various paints, charcoal, and copper highlights. If you look closely, you will see sea and land animals nestled between The Mission and the Cottage of the Sweets. The leather collar is handmade and features her name, Carmela. Enjoy all that we love about Carmel!
