Sun 12pm - 5pm
After graduating from Nursing School in 1979, Kathleen Little, a Los Angeles native, began her long romance with the human body in the frantic-energy of the ER. Still licensed, her love of open heart and anatomy translate well into the sumptuous four-chamber cast-glass hearts and breathtaking stained-glassed bodies in motion of her present craft.
In 2009, after graduating her last daughter from college, Kathleen was able to fully devote herself to her glass.
Up until 2017 Kathleen operated an independent studio in Suffolk, Virginia while also working as an instructor at the Chrysler Museum of Art Glass Studio in Norfolk, Virginia. This unique opportunity at the Chrysler enabled her to share glass with visiting communities across the country.
After spending over thirty years living and working in Suffolk, Virginia Kathleen now lives in Monterey, California with her husband Bill, and two Rhodesian Ridgebacks, Lucy and Frida.
Ms. Little creates one of a kind works of art glass utilizing various processes in her beautiful working studio/gallery in downtown Carmel-by-the-Sea. She continues to keep abreast of the ever changing glass movement and is eager to learn and share her gifts with others.
Driving south on CA-1 take a right onto Ocean Ave. Turn right onto Mission street and park between 5th and 6th streets. K. Little Glass is located in the Biason Courtyard behind Tresors.
